Less reactivity; more choice in the moment
Reduced anxiety and bodily tension
Clearer boundaries and fewer automatic “yeses”
Fewer or shorter cravings; stronger follow‑through
Feeling calmer, steadier, and more self‑trusting
Simple tools between sessions make a big difference
You stay in control the entire time
Small steps add up to steady change
A., late 30s — Suicidal Thoughts “Constant tight chest, racing thoughts at night. Following the hypnotherapy, things that were a bother before no-longer are now. No longer as tired, or fatigued. Husband and friend have noticed a change.”
J., early 50s — People‑Pleasing & Boundaries “Always said yes and felt resentful later. Prior to the hypnotherapy I used food to cope. Fewer automatic yeses, more honest no’s—with less guilt.”
S., mid 40s — Triggers & Cravings “Cravings felt impossible. Had my first session with Julie, there was no change. Had the second session, after that cravings haven't been an issue, I'm no longer being triggered”
In the short term (first few sessions)
Increased awareness → you’ll start recognising the “parts” and body signals (Resources) of yourself that come forward in different situations (e.g., the Angry Part, the Vulnerable Part, the Strong Part).
Relief + validation → many people feel an immediate sense of “Oh, that makes sense — I’m not broken, I just have different parts.”
Tools for emotional regulation → you’ll begin learning how to switch into more helpful Resources when needed.
Medium term (weeks-months)
Improved emotional control → those sudden reactions (anger, shame, rejection, anxiety) begin to ease because the right Resource gets to step in instead.
Integration → old wounds or traumas linked to certain parts get resolved, so they don’t keep “hijacking” you.
Greater self-trust → you’ll start noticing, “I can handle things that used to overwhelm me.”
Relationship shifts → because you’re less reactive, connections often improve.
Long term (months–beyond)
Lasting change → unlike surface-level coping strategies, we aims to resolve things at the “subconscious” level, so progress sticks.
Wholeness & balance → instead of being tugged around by different parts, you feel more integrated and authentic.
Resilience → even if challenges come up, you’ll move through them faster without spiraling back into old patterns.
Confidence in identity → many people describe feeling “more me” than ever before.
Results vary from person to person.
Hypnotherapy complements—does not replace—medical or psychological care.
